CB175 Ride

The time had come this weekend to make a few adjustments and put the ol’ girl on the road! ┬áHere are a couple videos. ┬áThis first video is a quick start/run video.

The second video is a longer on of the ride and you may want to skip through some adjustments at the beginning.

I want to thank everyone that helped for their immense support and assistance as I worked through getting this finished. She runs great! I mean better than I could have hoped for. This is both a very happy and relieving day, as well as a sad one. I have decided that this bike, is a bike that a new rider…especially one that is my wife…probably shouldn’t learn to ride on. Anyone who has done a custom build can likely attest to the various reasons why. I had two of my friends over today and they reaffirmed my conclusion as well. This brings me to the sadness. I have decided to sell it to pay for the bike that she can learn to ride on and commute the 45 min 1-way drive to her work as the weather gets nicer.

At least I got through the build and got to ride it around. However, it was never meant to be my bike, and since I am not comfortable with her commuting on this bike, it just doesn’t make sense to keep it.
